OUR FAREWELL TO ROB SUNDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2006

Today we bid Rob a fond farewell and in doing so we know our feelings are somewhat of a paradox. We are sad to see him go but we are happy that he is on the first leg of his journey to fame within the parameters of the world of performing arts. He left on a poetical note so this poem was commissioned for Rob from all his friends that he leaves behind.
You
know how much we will miss you
You
know how much we’ve all cared
You
know how much we loved knowing you
All
the many things that we’ve shared
But
it doesn’t make goodbyes easy
When
to chase your dream is a must
When
it’s someone like you who is going away
When
it’s someone we love and we trust
Your
friendship will be dearly remembered
You’ve
shared our joys and our fears
You’ve
help us to smile
When
we’ve walked a hard mile
And
been there to help dry up our tears
You’ve
put smiles on the face of the sad
You
put hope in place of despair
And
right to the end
If
we needed a friend
Somehow
you have always been there
Your
talent a forgone conclusion
We
simply look for a star on that door
So
good luck long life May God bless you
For
the joy that comes through
From
just knowing you
